After getting away from his cruel father's tyranny, Randall has to learn how to live again,
and accept the person he was meant to be - with a little help of a local bartender... ***** An empty shell is all what is left of twenty-five-year-old Randall now. After his
homophobic father found out he was gay, he had to learn to act someone else in order
to survive through the years of abuse and humiliation. Now he has forgotten the
person he once was. He refuses to remember the person he was supposed to be. Emotionally detached, and unable to create any kind of relationships, Randall's
lonely days repeat themselves in the same destructive pattern: go to work,
work out, watch TV, and drink, with no way out of that dark, miserable corner
he has built for himself. When a gay bar opens doors in his neighborhood, the fragile balance he has created
with himself is in danger of being destroyed when his true self is trying to break free. And to make things worse, there is a new guy at his gym. A kind guy who has a nice
voice and loves talking people's ears off. A guy who can see his suffering and is
willing to do whatever it takes to help him. A guy who is making Randall feel once again. (Warning, this novel contains verbal and physical abuse!)
Monster Anthology Volume 1
A creeping horror in the dark. An echoing howl in the forest. A spreading pool of ichor. Shadows stalking the slightest hint of fear. A prowling terror just out of sight. Roiling storms crouching on the horizon.
The following anthology contains Mythic tales of monsters and beasts, and the horrors inflicted upon the innocents in their path. Are you brave enough to crawl into the jaws of a beast?

The Red Rose - A Modern Day AU Fantasy
Strapped for cash and living alone in a new city, Ryan makes the plunge into the world of the exotic Red Rose, where one Special Interest Night could make or break his life. One night only, one dance set, and he's home free. It's an offer too good to pass up. Besides, it's totally anonymous, right?...
Can one night change your fortune? Is love real, or just a pipe dream? What happens if your love turns out to be three tyrants out for their own good night on the strip?
Ryan was pretty sure, he had no intention of ever finding that out. Funny how fate can have different plans.~
In this modern-day fantasy, full of thugs, monsters, and mayhem, Ryan's Story of the Exotic, erotic and unexpected just goes to show you never know what's around the corner.~
Have Gun, Will Reincarnate: Memoirs of an Isekai Knight
Getting shot in the head sucks. Waking up in a new world after getting shot, though, that has its perks.
Stoner is neither a teenage boy who longs for adventure, nor an outcast dreaming of a place where he might belong. He's a professional soldier, a veteran of twenty years who's spent his whole adult life on the battlefield. He always knew he'd meet his end there. What he didn't expect was for that end to be a new beginning.
There's a war coming to this new world, and a Goddess who needs a soldier to fight it. It'll take all of Stoner's savvy and know-how to bring a new way of fighting to this land of monsters and magic, and the stakes are as high as they can be. After all, if this world falls, Earth is next on the chopping block, along with the family he left behind.
Ars Nova
Lotte feared her world would never accept her for who she was, a woman unable to love men. Now Lotte’s dead.
The underworld gods of ancient Mesopotamia stirred at her sudden arrival, connecting her past with the present of a different world. Kiur is a resident of this world and a victim of its own cruelties. His delusions haunt him. Unable to fully recover, he pushes away friends and family alike.
With Lotte at his side, they now have to face the dark abyss of their mind. Their fate is yet to be cast as their lives intertwine. The Gods of the Great Below make their moves.
SILK AND STEEL
The world ended. The apocalypse came. The gods waged war on each other across the realms of reality and at last wiped themselves out. Angles and devils took the souls they wanted to who knows where. And then it was over. And you and others like you were left behind. Maybe your soul was trapped inside your body and couldn’t leave. Maybe it was bound to a demon. Or maybe you have no soul at all. Either way, you must be some kind of monster. All that is left is to decide – what kind of a monster are you going to be?
This is the premise of the short novel Silk and Steel – a dark dystopia / mythpunk story set in a post-apocalyptic world. It’s heavily based around Romani and Eastern European mythology and crammed full of LGBTQIA+ romance. Forget shiny heroes wielding even shinier weapons to defeat 'evil' foes. Instead, every monster here must simply try to survive and carve a place for themselves in this new confounding reality. At the end of the world, there are no heroes, everyone is some kind of monster and each choice they make will shape what kind of monster they eventually become...
Silk and Steel has:
Larger than life characters that you can invest in - a complex plot full of intrigue and suspense - a dark gaslamp/steampunk setting rich in folklore and mythos - graphic violence - steamy sex scenes - villains you'll really love to hate - heroes with troubled pasts and hearts of gold - supporting cinnamon rolls you'll want to adopt and take home.
CWs:
Violence, consensual and non-consensual sex, physical, emotional and sexual abuse, prostitution, drugs, alcohol, addiction, theft and organised crime, swearing, murder, mental health issues including self harm and suicide, demons, magic, religion, cults.
Each chapter will have its own flags so you know what's coming up but please be advised that this is a grim story told in a harsh world - no chapter will be suitable for under 18s and all chapters may include content which some readers may find disturbing.
A Drink Before Battle (M/M) (✔)
General Sevei is of the firm opinion that Nobles are shady and Alchemists even shadier. Noble Alchemists are the absolute worst. He is not looking forward to partnering with one to guard the border.
Upon their introduction, though, it would seem they have already met... under very intimate circumstances.
Oh...,****...
~~~*~~~
This is set in the same world as my novel "Salvage", but they are completely independent stories. You don't have to read one to read the other. (This one is back in medieval times, about 400 years prior to Salvage.)
Just like in Salvage, here you can expect some humor and some angst (and some occasional smut) and a bunch of hot messes just doing their best. Despite the seemingly salacious premise, this is a love story at its heart, as well as a story of friendship and found family.
Vers. couple: Manly cinnamon roll MC x Manly neurotic wreck ML
CW:
Homophobic society, internalized homophobia and closeting, internalized transphobia (supporting character), war veteran ptsd, slavery (supporting character - no abuse of this character is depicted).
