Five short hours of daylight. Nineteen hours under the silver light of a perpetual full moon.
In the crumbling empire of Waegelmeim, two princesses flee the crushing weight of their father’s “Golden Military Age.” Theathifu and Brubeith venture into the treacherous wilderness of the lands beyond their city to find one more push for reform with their father. But they soon realize that darkness of the lands outside the walls of their palace, the ones they considered their “gilded cage”, is heavier than the torch lights inside their home. With the wick of a planned rebellion slowly burning-up, they must navigate the vast landscape of their world, where the shade of the trees hide malice and the light of the moon reveals every sin.
